Lord of my life, How can this be?
When You look down upon us, what do you see?
With all the turmoil and trials here, it’s wondrous to believe
That You gave up Your life to set us free.

Lord of my life, I strive to obey.
Beacon of God’s light, You’ve shown me the way.
You’re at the right hand of the Father yet You died for sinners like me.
I can never repay You Lord, for giving me the key.

I sing alleluia to a carpenter’s son;
a human baby born of God, the Chosen One.
He walked on earth to teach us and He died that we may live.
His sacrifice, the greatest gift that our Father had to give.

Lord of my life help us understand.
Open up our eyes to focus on Your plan.
For every two steps forward we fall two steps back again.
With infinite patience You offer us Your hand.

Lord of my life, I’m only a man.
Kneeling before You, I am Yours to command.
To bring forth Holy Spirit brings forth living water in me.
Lord You have quenched my thirst for eternity.
